Selling Stuff On eBay!

CLICK HERE to get started making money today, simply by selling unused or unwanted items that are just taking up space in your house.

Just take a look around your house and see if you don’t have items like this:

  • ·         Clothing and shoes.
  • ·         Books.
  • ·         DVDs and CDs.
  • ·         Kitchen items.
  • ·         Electronics (games, iPods, computers, cameras, etc).
  • ·         Small furniture.
  • ·         Antiques.
  • ·         Collectibles.

If you have items like this and you’d like to turn them into cash, here’s how to do it:

1.   Take multiple photos of the item. This step is important, even if it’s just a small, inexpensive item.

2.   Join eBay.com if you’re not already a member. Otherwise, log in and click the link to start an auction.

3.   Put your item in the correct category. If it’s a bigger, more expensive item, then you can put it in two categories for more exposure.

4.   Write a title that will get your prospects’ attention and get them to click on your auction. Do note that your title should also include keywords (such as “Cannon digital camera” or “1940 Bavarian sword”), since these keywords makes it easier for buyers to find your auction.

5.   Write a descriptive auction ad. Your prospective buyer doesn’t have the advantage of picking up the item and holding it in his own hands – that’s why he needs you to describe it in as much detail as possible.

Note: You need to sell him on the benefits of product. But you also need to tell him what’s wrong with the product, if anything.

Example: If you’re selling an old book and there’s a small tear on page 51, you better mention it. Or if you’re selling a camera with a missing strap, mention it. Your buyers will appreciate your honesty, which makes them much more likely to buy. Plus there are no surprises when they get the item, so they’ll leave good feedback for you (and they’ll buy from you again).

6.   Provide good after-sale service. Finally, keep in contact with the buyer after the auction is over. Send him a thank-you note with payment instructions immediately after the auction ends. Then ship the item promptly and email him with a tracking number. All of this leads to good feedback and repeat sales!
